I have been very impressed with the high standard of coaching at advantage U for some years now.
Stephen and Scott's performance and fitness levels have improved dramatically with the help of individual training programs which Alec Pero of Advantage U has spent many hours of effort and time in developing these programs.
Stephen has decided to take his tennis career further with the support and encouragement of Alec and has been accepted into the University of Portsmouth in England to do a Sports Science Honors degree and will also tour the tennis circuit in the UK and Europe (Oct 2004).
Scott has also been inspired by Alec at Advantage U to continue playing tennis left handed as 2 years ago he was diagnosed with a deformity in his right elbow and can no longer play right handed. Thanks to Alec, Scott is now playing left handed and would like to train as a tennis coach in the near future. |

As a parent I am happy to recommend the team at Advantage U. The committed team provide first rate coaching for all students, whilst ensuring that the tennis lessons are enjoyable.
The coaches are mindful of the needs and aspirations of individual children, giving encouragement to both the potential start and the reluctant athlete.
Through a carefully planned and executed program, Alec from Advantage U has improved the technique, match fitness and attitude of my son aged 17. Alec was able to identify the technical strengths and faults in my son's game and devise strategies to improve his game and match play. He devised a personal fitness plan which proved to be very effective.
Alec has also encouraged the participation and commitment of my daughter who has now become a confident junior competitor. |

| As a former tournament circuit tennis player, I was working with Alec Pero at Advantage U Tennis, and found that due to my extensive experience at being coached by many different coaches and Tennis Academies from around Australia , that Alec at Advantage U provided me with the greatest and most professional foundations to achieve my goals. Alec taught me all the aspects I needed to technically, physically, mentally and tactically improve my game to a higher level. | I have been coached by Alec from Advantage U for approximately three year and over this time my game has benefited greatly. His friendly but firm attitude creates a comfortable environment in which to learn and develop and he is always striving to improve and modify my tennis in all facets of the game. Alec's commitment to tennis is something rare among coaches today and something I value greatly. Alec shows a genuine interest in all aspects of my tennis and his willingness to learn and help others is rubbing off on all those who work around him. | Since being coached by Alec Pero from Advantage U, I have been able to develop my game to a point where every time I walk off the court playing a match I feel like I've accomplished many of my goals I set out to achieve, win or lose. If not for Alec's hard work and dedication I would probably be playing like I was 5 years a go when I first started with him, not being able to enjoy myself as much as I have and to also play as well as I am currently. Not only has Alec worked on the hitting side of my game but also extensively improved my technical, physical and mental approach to the game. This has enabled me now to compete in events against high ranking players both state and nation wide, having success in many of these events. Through Alec and the Advantage U team, which have provided great professional coaching I have been able to not only improve my game but have also built a foundation in which I can achieve my goals. |

| As a coach, working with Alec and the Advantage U team has been a pleasure and an enjoyable experience. Alec and the team provide a great and professionally qualified service making tennis fun and enjoyable as well as providing the students with up to date and expertise coaching. Students from beginner to advanced levels not only learn about the game more and develop their own further, but also are able to work on fitness and other skills. |

| More recently I completed my Level 1 coach's qualifications and began working for Advantage U tennis as a coach. I'm pleased to say that we have learned to provide not only the most modern and expertise tennis coaching methods, but also provide students with fun, fitness and other skills used in everyday life. Alec Pero and the team of assistant coaches pride ourselves on delivering all the foundations that students require from a beginner level to advanced players. I believe that working with the Advantage U team sets a strong foundation for coaching. |
